Update from Mis Marcile

Sorry about our absence… this post has been long in coming… I’ve sat down a couple times trying to get something written but every time I start so many memories come flooding into my mind and I get lost!

Our last day of clinic for 2020 was on December 18th. We ended our day with a clinic and mission staff Christmas party! Every one was excited for the upcoming vacation. To say the least the next couple weeks had looked very overwhelming to me… we had big days ahead of us filled with inventory of all the meds and supplies we had in our depots and pharmacy, a thorough cleaning of the whole clinic scrubbing top to bottom, painting, reorganizing and more. As we tackled each project I was amazed at how well things moved along!

Towards the end of our Cleaning a team of amazingly sweet people showed up and pitched in with the painting and all the extra stuff we didn’t get done! I was also soooo thankful for their help when clinic opened again as we are short staffed and the first couple day were extremely busy.

New years Eve was spent on top of a little grassy Noll behind our mission compound. We often hike up there for service or just to get away to relax… A picnic supper and the fresh cool air was extremely invigorating as we watched the moon rise into the sky!

Our long awaited and much looked forward to vacation finally arrived on Jan 3rd! the excitement was high as we made the trip to Indigo beach/resort. The 3 Days we spent there were extremely refreshing. Then on the way back home we stopped in at the airport to pick up our new mechanic guy.
Here’s a picture of us when we were at the beach.
